For 2,000 years, Christianity has boasted some of the greatest storytellers, thinkers, and poets the world has ever known – Augustine, Aquinas, C.S. Lewis, the Desert Fathers, and the list goes on and on…

Beyond the Bible itself, these giants of the faith should be shaping the way we think, act, and relate to God.

We all admit we should read more of the classics, but who has the time and energy to wade through outdated language and style?

Three years ago, after a friend returned one of these classics to me saying he couldn’t get into it, I had the idea for Modern Saints…

What if I could rewrite these famous books so that this generation can relate to them? And not just the language, but the formatting and the style and the cover – all of it, so that it would feel like they were written in 2021? What if I could make it easy for us to spend time with those that came before us, empowering us to dig deeper into the ancient way of Jesus?

And after years of work, Modern Saints is born!

The first Modern Saints book is out now. Orthodoxy – a top-ten Christian classic and my favorite book of all time – is by one of the most interesting people ever… G.K. Chesterton.

If you’ve never read it, it’s Chesterton’s own account of how he grew from an atheist to a Christian and shows how Christianity is the cure for a modern world gone mad. It’s light-hearted, fun, and will make you think in ways you’ve never thought before. It’s more poetic pop-philosophy than theological treatise and is the epitome of a Christian must-read!

We look forward to more releases in the future, but until then, visit modernsaints.com and follow us @WeAreModernSaints for the best Christian wisdom and insight.
